1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or participating in the School Contact Initiative (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to comply with these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.
If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.
2. Description of Service
The School Contact Initiative is currently in a beta-testing phase for a proposed national educational communication network.
Our services may include:
- Role-based email systems (e.g.,
@teachers.email,@schools.email,@students.email) - Secure communication tools and directories
- Beta-test feedback programs and technology demonstrations
The platform is being developed for educational and administrative use only.
3. Eligibility
Participation is limited to:
- Students, parents, teachers, administrators, and educational institutions within the United States
- Authorized beta testers approved by the initiative
- Individuals 18 years of age or older (or with verified parental/institutional consent)
4. School Participation Authorization Requirement
Any school, district, or educational institution wishing to participate in the School Contact Initiative pilot program must first obtain formal authorization from its local school governing board or school board before enrollment, activation, or use of any pilot services.
It is the sole legal responsibility of each participating school or district to:
- Secure the necessary approvals and resolutions from their local educational governing authority;
- Verify compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal education regulations; and
- Maintain records of such authorization for audit or verification purposes.
The School Contact Initiative assumes no responsibility or liability for unauthorized participation or actions taken by individuals or entities without proper approval.
5. Appropriate Use
Users agree to:
- Use the service solely for educational communication and authorized pilot purposes
- Refrain from using the platform for spam, harassment, or unlawful activity
- Respect the privacy and rights of others
- Protect login credentials and maintain confidentiality
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
6. Intellectual Property
All materials, software, and content associated with the School Contact Initiative are owned by the project developers or their licensors.
No content may be reproduced, distributed, or modified without written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
As a beta service, the initiative is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no warranties regarding uptime, performance, or suitability for any specific purpose.
We are not liable for any damages resulting from participation, use, or inability to use the service, including participation undertaken without proper authorization from a school governing body.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
